Overview
YourData
Your product work stays local, and Nearform does not use or inspect it without your express written consent.
Your product model is your work. Lines is designed so Nearform does not need to see it, store it, or learn from it in order for you to use the product.
A distinct Lines file on your desktop
Each Lines project is saved as a Lines Markdown document in a location you choose on your Mac. macOS registers it as a Lines document, and the .md extension keeps the file human-readable and machine-readable.
A Lines document can contain semantic Nodes, Pages, Views, bindings, states, rules, annotations, images, and local Markdown. The file is the portable product truth; it is not a pointer to a hidden cloud copy.
What Nearform does not do
We do not upload local Lines projects by default.
We do not read, scan, index, sell, or train models on your local product content.
We do not create hidden project uploads or remote file access.
We do not look at a Lines document without your express written consent.
When information leaves your Mac
Nearform receives ordinary account, activation, trial, billing, and service metadata required to run your account.
We receive only the messages and attachments you intentionally send through ADAM or a support conversation.
If you ask us to troubleshoot a project, we will explain exactly what we need and obtain express written consent before inspecting the file.
Consent is specific
Consent for one support case does not give Nearform ongoing access to other projects. It does not authorize training, reuse, or unrelated review. You can withdraw consent before additional inspection, subject to actions already necessary to complete the support request you approved.
Portable by design
Because Lines uses Markdown rather than a proprietary binary vault, you can keep, copy, back up, inspect, and version your document with tools you control. If your subscription changes, your local file does not stop being yours.
Need help?
Contact Lines Support through ADAM, your account page, Discord, or hello@nearform.co. Never send passwords, API keys, activation serials, or authentication tokens in a support attachment.
