Images

Add an image

You can drag an image file from Finder or Desktop into the Design canvas. You can also use Place Image from the page inspector.

The file picker accepts image files and PDFs.

Edit an image

Select an image to edit:

• Position

• Size

• Opacity

• Layer name

• Visibility

• Layer order

Images appear in the Layers list. Drag to move an image. Resize from the canvas or use inspector fields. Image metadata and placement are saved in the local .md document.

If an image cannot be imported, Lines shows an error instead of silently failing.
