Overview
Payflex
A missed payment should not turn the lights out on your local Lines work.
A missed payment or two should not turn the lights out on your local Lines work. Payflex is our continuity promise: if a renewal fails or life gets expensive, we keep Lines available and work with you before restricting paid services.
What stays available
Your Lines Markdown documents remain on your Mac and stay yours.
You can keep opening, reading, and exporting the product work stored in those local files.
We do not delete, corrupt, overwrite, encrypt, or hold local project files hostage because an account has a billing problem.
When a payment is missed
A failed renewal does not immediately shut off Lines.
We provide continuity while you resolve the issue or contact support.
Services that create ongoing costs for Nearform, including hosted or model-backed features, may eventually be limited if billing cannot be resolved.
Any restriction is about paid services, not ownership of the work already saved on your Mac.
Talk to a person
If something happened, contact Lines Support through ADAM, your account page, Discord, or email at hello@nearform.co. We are a small team, and we would rather understand the situation than surprise you with a dark screen.
What Payflex does not mean
Payflex is not a promise of unlimited unpaid service or a change to the price of your plan. It is a promise that a billing interruption will be handled with continuity, clarity, and a human path to resolve it.
Your local work remains yours
Lines saves each project as a Lines Markdown document on your desktop or another folder you choose. macOS recognizes it as a Lines document, while the .md format remains human-readable, portable, and inspectable without a proprietary cloud account.
