Select Tool

Use the Select tool to choose and move existing objects.

You can select:

• Nodes in Model Mode.

• Connectors in Model Mode.

• Artboards in Design Mode.

• Text layers.

• Image layers.

• Pencil strokes.

• Bezier paths.

Marquee selection

Drag on empty canvas space to create a marquee selection. Any supported object intersecting the selection rectangle is selected.

Move and delete

Drag selected objects to move them. Press Delete or Backspace to delete the current selection.

Selected objects show selection highlights or handles. The Properties Inspector updates to match the selected object.
